A Message from the Chairman
Firstly, I'd like to introduce myself as the new Chairman of Priory Angling Club. My name is Lee Pagett, and I'm delighted and excited to take on the role for the season ahead. I'm looking forward to working alongside the committee and members to continue building on everything that makes PAC such a great club.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped during the closed season. The amount of work that has gone into maintaining and improving the lakes has been incredible. The venues are looking the best they ever have, and it's been great to hear so many positive comments from members about how well everything is looking.
The new season is already off to a fantastic start, with plenty of catches being reported across our PAC Facebook group. It's great to see members out on the bank enjoying their fishing and sharing their successes. If you're not already a member of the Facebook group, please consider joining to keep up to date with catches, club news, and events.
Our match programme is now underway, with the first evening qualifier taking place last night. Whether you're a regular match angler or have never fished a match before, all members are welcome to come along and get involved. It's a friendly group of anglers who enjoy a bit of competition and, most importantly, a bit of fun.
Here's to a successful season ahead, and I look forward to seeing you all on the bank.

Membership renewal.
Please note that from 1st June, membership places will be offered to anglers currently on the waiting list. Any existing members who have not renewed by this date may lose their place in the club.
Many thanks PAC Committee
Warrens Farm Fence.
We have spoken with Fiona at Warrens Farm to raise concerns from several members who feel uncomfortable walking through the field now that the cows are regularly present.
In response, a wire fence has been installed running from the main top gate down to our lake entry gate at the bottom of the field. Although the fence is not electrified, we are advised that the cows will avoid it, providing safe access along the left-hand side of the field. This arrangement will be in place until 1st May.
We have not yet had the opportunity to inspect this in person, but we have been assured it meets the requirements discussed. If any members visit in the near future, we would appreciate your feedback on whether the arrangement is working.
We hope this improvement will encourage more members to visit Warrens without concern about the cows.
Many thanks PAC Committee
Welcome to Priory Angling Club's Website.
We are a small invite only angling club based in the idyllic countryside on the outskirts of Stevenage.
The club was started in the early nineteen eighties by a few like minded anglers taking up the lease at Weston after the demise of The Kodak Angling Club when the Stevenage plant closed.
Over the years the club has grown and now has two waters under its stewardship - Weston and Warrens green.
The aim of the club and the people on the committee is to give a good days fishing in a restful and enjoyable setting.
Please use the menu at the top of the page to learn more about our club and its waters and rules.
New Newsletter
Please navigate to the Newsletter area of the website to read the most recent Newsletter where we talk about the AGM, work parties, club communications and more.
CLAY END - NO LONGER WITH CLUB
Clay end is currently closed to members as the lake has been vandalised having said that we have recently received the news that Clayend would not like to renew the contract after 31st October 2025 and as such Clayend will not longer be under the Priory Angling club
They have stated that due to work needed and currently on going around the land the baorders of the lake, they would like to take it in house in order to manage the work, they dont want to burn the bridge with the club and keep the club in mind for the future if the option arises for the club to come back on board.
the club will no longer have access to the waters and members must not be down there fishing or walking.
More will be addressed at the AGM as is usually done but for the mean time Weston and warrens will be ready for you to bag up and fish for some specimens
Many thanks PAC Committee
